📋 Information We Collect
Expense Snap does not collect any personal data. All information you enter — expenses, notes, receipt images, budget limits, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's native frameworks (SwiftData and UserDefaults). No data is ever transmitted to XIX Professional Services or any third party.
🔒 Device Permissions
Expense Snap requests the following device permissions. Both are entirely optional — the core app functions without them.
You may deny or revoke either permission at any time in iOS Settings without affecting core expense-tracking functionality.
📤 Data Export
Expense Snap includes an optional export feature that allows you to generate a CSV summary and a PDF bundle of your expense records, including any attached receipt images.
Exports are always initiated by you and shared via the iOS Share Sheet to a destination of your choosing — for example, email, cloud storage, or a messaging app. No export occurs automatically or in the background.
Once you choose to share an export, the receiving service's own privacy policy applies to that data. XIX Professional Services does not receive, access, or store any exported data.

- Collect or transmit personal data to our servers
- Use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
- Share your data with third parties
- Require account creation or login
- Track you across other apps or websites
- Sync your data to the cloud without your explicit action
🛡 Data Security
All data remains on your device and is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device-level encryption and app sandboxing. Because no data is transmitted to or stored by XIX Professional Services, there is no server-side exposure of your information.
You have complete control: you can delete individual records, clear all app data, or uninstall the app at any time to remove all associated data from your device.
👶 Children's Privacy
Expense Snap is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no data is collected from any user, this applies equally to all age groups.
📝 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app's features or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of Expense Snap after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
